Patch 0.7 is out!


Took a bit longer for this update as I was on holiday.

Got there in the end though!


Notes for Patch 0,7:

  • implemented a new 5x6 grid layout into later levels (24 and above)
  • added general hints
  • removed the player home building, the need to destroy it, and the interval spawning of a troop
  • rebalanced certain campaign levels which were too hard
  • heavily refined ai logic
  • reworked healthbars (now they appear only when below 99% health)
  • reworked cavalry -> now charges through the entire army and swings around to attack from behind
  • mage change -> now skips the 'build up cast' animation (small little buff to attack faster for the mage)
  • new unit!..: Bannerman!
  • optimisation improvements
  • various QoL improvements
  • many bug fixes
  • balance changes:
  1.  catapult: move speed 2 -> 1 | dmg 8 -> 9 (i wanted to make the catapult a bit more unique... slow but hard-hitting)
  2.  cavalry: dmg 2 -> 5 (to compromise with the new rework, this bad boi now hits hard out-of-charge too)
  3.  sniper: attack speed 1 -> 2 (higher number = slower. same as catapult, i wanted these to be a bit more unique from the regular archers)
